The Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) Pyramid FM, Kano Chapel has congratulates Wasila Ibrahim Ladan for her victory as newly elected Secretary General Nigeria Union of Women Journalist (NAWOJ).
The Independent Mirror reported that this was contained in a statement signed by Comrade Mukhtar Yahaya Shehu the NUJ Pyramid Secretary General.
According to the statement the Chapel under the chairman of Aminu Abba Kwaru said on behalf of the remaining Executives congratulates Malam Abba Bashir the General Manager Pyramid FM, members of the News and Current Affairs and entire staff of the station on the successful conduct of the NAWOJ congress held in Abuja.
Aminu Kwaru also congratulates A’isha Bura,Wasila Ibrahim Ladan, who won the mandate of the members of the association as national president and Secretary General, enjoining them to build on the popular support expressed through the ballot box to deliver good governance to the NAWOJ.
The statement also congratulates other newly elected Executives of the association.
Comrade Aminu Kwaru also commended Kano State NUJ under the leadership of Comrade Abbas Ibrahim and all other stakeholders for demonstrating uncommon leadership by doing everything possible until wasila was elected Wasila as Secretary General.
