Kano Lawmaker Rurum, Hails Tinubu, Commends Gov. Yusuf Support

The member representing Rano, Kibiya Bunkure, in the federal consistency Rt. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following signing into law the bill for establishing the federal polytechnic, Rano.

The Independent Mirror reports that, Kabiru Alhassan also commended the Kano state Governor, Abba Kabiru Yusuf, for his contribution despite different opinions of politics.

Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, the former Kano state speaker, made the recommendation during an interview with Premier Radio FM Kano on Tuesday.

“First of all, I would like to express my immensely grateful to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his leadership and commitment, especially for signing the bill into law”,

“My profound appreciation goes to the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Senate President, Senator (Dr.) Barau Ibrahim Jibrin, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Tajuddeen Abbas”

“I also mentioned Senator Suleiman Abdulrahman Kawu Sumaila and Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the 9th Assembly, for their support towards the contribution,” Kabiru stated.

“The signing of this bill into law marks a significant milestone in the educational and economic development of Rano, Kano State, and the entire nation,” the statement read.

Kabiru Alhassan Rurum is also recognized, and commended the contributions to the leadership and efforts of the Kano state Governor, Abba Kabiru Yusuf, for making the progress of the state, despite the different opinions on political matters.

On Tuesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu signed bills for the establishment of a federal polytechnic in Rano, Kano State, and a federal university of health sciences in Tsafe, Zamfara State
