In collaboration with MVP Sport Management Agency of Nigeria and the Kano State Football Association, Serbian talent scouting organization Scout X d.o.o has kicked off a two-day coaching workshop in Kano for coaches from the state and northwest region.
The Independent Mirror reports that the workshop is aimed at introducing modern coaching techniques and offering a platform for local coaches to gain insights from experienced foreign professionals.
The two-day workshop began on Sunday and will continue on Monday, April 14, 2025, as UEFA Pro License coach Savic Boris is leading the sessions, sharing his expertise to enhance the coaching standards in the region.
The event is part of the build-up to the maiden edition of the Gusau/Ahlan/Babagana U-19 Tournament, tagged Kano 2025.
Kano State coaches association under the leadership of Barrister Ibrahim Gwadabe, commended the organizers for enabling at least 50 local coaches to benefit from the initiative.
The event was attended by prominent figures including the Chairman of Kano State Football Association, Sharif Rabiu Ahlan, and Borno FA Chairman, Babagana Kalli, among others.
