The new Kano-based football club, Bichi First FC, has appointed renowned journalist Muzammil Dalha Yola as its Media Officer.
The Independent Mirror reports that the club confirmed the appointment in an official announcement this week.
Muzammil Dalha Yola, who also serves as the Assistant Secretary of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kano State Chapter, will head the club’s media department to strengthen its communications and publicity activities.
Yola, an experienced journalist and head of the sports unit at Aminchi Radio Kano, previously served as the NLO Northwest Media Officer.
His appointment reflects his commitment to contributing to the club’s growth and success ahead of the new season.
Recall that the club recently appointed Abubakar Musa as its new Technical Adviser ahead of the Nigerian National League (NNL) season.
The President of Bichi First FC, Hon. Dr. Engr. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar Bichi, expressed delight in unveiling Coach Abubakar Musa, praising his impressive profile, expertise, and experience as both a former footballer and coach.
He further emphasized that the club’s mission is to empower youths in the sporting sector within his federal constituency and Kano State.
The President also revealed plans for an ultra-modern 18,000-capacity stadium in Bichi, a project set to become a source of pride for Kano State and Northern Nigeria.
Bichi First FC looks forward to a successful partnership with Coach Abubakar Musa as preparations continue for the upcoming NNL season.
