The Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO) North-East Coordinator for the Football Project under the Renewed Hope Agenda, Abubakar Dan Fulani, has paid a visit to the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin.
The Independent Mirror reports that Abubakar Dan Fulani visited Senator Barau Jibrin on Friday night to inform him of his recent appointment as the new TSO North-East Coordinator.
Senator Barau Jibrin, who has consistently demonstrated commitment to promoting sporting activities, described Dan Fulani’s appointment as well deserved and based on merit.
Dan Fulani, who is also a coordinator with Nigeria’s U-20 men’s national football team, the Flying Eagles, is set to further his role in promoting the agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
An experienced football administrator, Abubakar has served at the helm of several top Nigerian clubs, including Enyimba, Sunshine Stars, El-Kanemi Warriors, and Gombe United.
In his new role, Abubakar is expected to oversee the implementation of the project across the North-East zone, liaise with state chapters, and coordinate competitions and development programmes within the region.
According to the leadership of the organisation, the football project will serve as an avenue for talent discovery, promote social cohesion, and deepen community engagement in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).
The appointment is a testament to Dan Fulani’s dedication, leadership capacity, and commitment to grassroots development.
