Barau FC Chairman Praises DSP Barau for Supporting Kano NLO Clubs

The Chairman of Barau Football Club, Ibrahim Shitu Chanji, has commended the recent efforts of the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, for covering the registration fees of 52 clubs in Kano State for this year’s Nationwide League One (NLO) competition.

The Independent Mirror reports that Senator Barau Jibrin also donated ₦3,000,000 for the welfare of the 52 club representatives and provided a new Hummer bus for the entire forum.

Senator Barau, the founder of Barau Football Club, covered the registration fees following a request from the Chairman of the Nigeria Nationwide League One, Kano Football Clubs Forum, Alhaji Salisu Ibrahim, during a courtesy visit to him at the National Assembly on Tuesday.

Ibrahim Shitu Chanji described Senator Barau Jibrin as a hero of sports development in Kano and Nigeria, commending his remarkable gesture in supporting football growth.
