The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) has organised a three-day interactive meeting with teachers from schools implementing digital literacy and remote learning.
The Independent mirror reports that the event, runs from Tuesday February 25 to 27, 2025, aims to strengthen the capacity of educators in integrating technology into learning and addressing challenges in digital education.
The Project Coordinator, Malam Mustapha Aminu, highlithes the important and effort to enhance digital literacy among adolescent girls.

“Through this training, we are committed to bridging the digital divide and ensuring that adolescent girls have equal access to digital opportunities.
He added that with the right support and policies, every teachers regardless with studenst, can make meaningful contributions to society.
The project coordinator encouraged the trainees to actively participate in the training to enrich their skills and competencies in effectively creating educational content.
He revealed that in the first phase of the implementation year, 100 schools will benefit from the intervention that will support training of students

Speaking at the training the component led to digital literacy and remote learning of Agile Kano State, Malam Ahmad Jibril said the program will enhance the teachers to modernize their knowledge in the schools.
