The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to announce a new foreign coach for the Super Eagles, according to former NFF chairman Amaju Pinnick.
The Independent Mirror reports that, Pinnick revealed this on Channels Television’s Sports Tonight program, describing the incoming coach as “enterprising.”
Nigeria has been without a substantive coach since Finidi George’s departure in June 2024.
The new coach will oversee the remaining 2026 World Cup qualifiers, starting with matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe in March.
Current Standings, Nigeria is second from bottom in Group C with 3 points from 4 matches.
