The NAS Sports Agency, has announced the honoured Madu Muhammad, the Barau Football Club Coach, for his outstanding performances in the NLO 2023/2024 Season.
The Independent Mirror reports that In a statement signed by Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, Barau FC Media Officer revealed that the award was presented at the state Final U17 tournament at Abukakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi State on Friday 5th July 2024.
Madu Muhammad, was recognized for his outstanding contributions to the grassroots sports development at the 3rd Edition of NAS Sports U17 Football tournament, promoting young football talent and growth in the state.
Presented awards to Madu Muhammad, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NAS Sports Agency, Nasiru Sani Toro, praised Madu for his dedication and commitment to football development.

“Madu Muhammad has achieved a lot in sports Carrie. His contributions have made a significant impact on the growth of young talent in Bauchi and the country at all”, Sani Toro said.
Many dignitaries in sports activities in the country attended the Final U17 competition between Yola Academy and Barracks Boys at ATB Stadium, with the match ending 2-0 in favour of Yola Academy.
The event was attended by Aminu Maigari, a former president of the Nigeria Football Federation NFF between 2010 and 2014.
Among others include former Secretary-General of the Nigerian Football Federation (NF) Nasiru Sani Toro, and Patrick Pascal, a former Nigerian footballer, who is currently the Super Eagles team coordinator and chairman of the Bauchi Football Association
