Nigeria Football Premier League, has approved the request of the Kano Pillars FC, to return home ground Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata, Kano state.
The Independent mirror gathered that, on Wednesday NFPL committee inspect the renovated Kofar Mata stadium facilities, allow Pillars to host home matches for the first time this season.
Kano Pillars FC, as a result of renovating Sani Abacha stadium, moved their home games to Muhammad Dikko Stadium in Katsina State for the home matches in NFPL.
Sani Abacha Stadium has been a fortress for the Sai Masu Gida boys and their strong home records played a key role when they won the league a few seasons ago.
Despite playing away from home this season, the Pillars have been one of the strongest teams.
The Sai Masu Gida will now host Heartland in a matchday 12 fixture on Sunday, in the Nigeria Football Premier League NFPL.
