Ahmed Musa donates N3m to Kano Pillars players

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has donated a cash gift of N3m to the Nigeria Premier Football League side, Kano Pillars, after their matchday 16 clash against Kwara United.

The Independent Mirror reported that Musa attended the Sani Abacha Stadium for Match day 16 between Kano Pillars and Kwara United, which ended Pillars beat Kwara 2-1 in the Nigerian Football Premier League on Thursday.

Ibrahim Yuga and Mohammed Aminu netted Kano Pillars in the game at Sani Abacha Kofar Mata in Kano State.

Ahmad Musa, who is a former Pillars player, donated to the team after the encounter.

The 30-year-old forward stated that the donation is aimed at encouraging the team in the quest to do well in the league.

Kano Pillars moved up to sixth position on the NPFL table with 25 points following the win.

Abdul Maikaba’s side will face Plateau United on matchday 17 in Kano.

Recall that the three-time champions Nigeria have picked a team of 25 players for their onslaught for a fourth Africa Cup of Nations title.
